The letters are individually bonded to the base, which is what gives them their raised shadow. In direct rain the bond can weaken over a year or more — we stock replacements and will send them. Best on a main door, covered entrance, lobby or balcony.

On a gate or compound wall we'd suggest studs. On a covered main door, screws are enough. Both fit wood, metal and painted masonry.

What makes it different

Every letter is cut on its own and bonded to the base by hand, so the name stands off the surface and throws a shadow that moves through the day. Flat printing cannot do that — from the street, a raised name reads and a printed one disappears.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. For dust after rain, use a damp cloth and dry it off. No thinner, no alcohol, no abrasive scrub — acrylic scratches, and a mirror finish shows every mark. Wipe in one direction rather than rubbing in circles, and never use paper towel.

If a letter or any raised element ever lifts, WhatsApp us and we will send a replacement.

We supply name plates in quantity to housing societies, builders, interior designers and temple trusts. Special pricing applies from 10 pieces. As a Jaipur workshop we cut, finish and dispatch in house, so large orders do not add weeks to the timeline. WhatsApp us for bulk pricing.

Dispatch and replacement

Made to order in our Jaipur workshop and dispatched within 2–4 business days. Delivery time varies by city and pincode.

Every plate passes a quality check before it leaves. We replace pieces that arrive damaged or where the error is ours — free, no questions asked. WhatsApp +91 9549160026 within 48 hours of delivery with photos or an unboxing video; replacements are cut and dispatched within 48–72 hours of approval.

Spelling submitted by the customer is not covered, which is why we send a proof before cutting. This is a made-to-order product, so we cannot accept returns for a change of mind. Online payment only. Full replacement and refund policy.

Can it carry both our names?

Yes — that's what it's designed for. Both names sit either side of the vein line running through the leaf, at equal size, with the house number above. Neither reads as the main one.

Which size should I choose?

15 × 7.5 in holds two names and a number comfortably and reads from about seven feet. 18 × 9 in gives longer names more room and carries from further back — better if the door sits at the end of a corridor.

Will the letters come off outdoors?

Not quickly. They are bonded, not stuck on with household adhesive — but in heavy direct rain the bond can weaken after a year or more.

We stock
replacement letters and you can buy them. For a fully exposed gate, our dual-layer laser cut plates have nothing bonded at all.

How is it fixed to the wall?

Screws with dome caps over the heads, all included. Stud mounting isn't available on this design — the leaf's narrow stem and tapered tip don't leave the continuous margin a standoff needs.

Can I see the design before you make it?

Yes, always. We send a digital proof on WhatsApp showing both names and the number laid out on the leaf. Nothing is cut until you approve it.

What is a husband wife name plate?


A husband wife name plate carries both names on one board, usually with the house number below. Ours is cut in the shape of a leaf in red — warmer and less formal than a rectangle, which is why couples choose it for a first home.
