On a gate or compound wall we'd suggest studs. On a covered main door, screws are enough. Both fit wood, metal and painted masonry.

What makes it different

Every letter is cut on its own and bonded to the base by hand, so the name stands off the surface and throws a shadow that moves through the day. Flat printing cannot do that — from the street, a raised name reads and a printed one disappears.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. For dust after rain, use a damp cloth and dry it off. No thinner, no alcohol, no abrasive scrub — acrylic scratches, and a mirror finish shows every mark. Wipe in one direction rather than rubbing in circles, and never use paper towel.

If a letter or any raised element ever lifts, WhatsApp us and we will send a replacement.

Every plate passes a quality check before it leaves. We replace pieces that arrive damaged or where the error is ours — free, no questions asked. Spelling submitted by the customer is not covered, which is why we send a proof before cutting. This is a made-to-order product, so we cannot accept returns for a change of mind. Online payment only. Full replacement and refund policy.

Which size should I choose?

12 × 6 in fits a house number and a family name comfortably. Choose 12 × 8 in if you want a bigger number or a third line such as a society or building name.

Screw, tape or stud — which mounting?

Screw and double tape are both free. Tape suits smooth tiles, glass or a covered door. Screws suit any wall. Stud mount is a paid upgrade — standoffs hold the plate off the wall so it looks raised and water drains behind it.

Can the family name be in Hindi?

Yes. Devanagari is cut the same way as English, at the same price. The number can stay in English or be set in Devanagari.

Can I see the design before you make it?

Yes. We send a digital proof on WhatsApp with your number and name laid out. Nothing is cut until you approve it.

Can it go outside?

Yes, with care. The base and letters are acrylic, and the letters are bonded, not stuck with household glue. In heavy direct rain the bond can weaken after a year or more — a covered entrance or stud mount helps. Wipe mirror letters with a soft dry cloth.

What is a black house number plate?
